Recipe Website

People who use recipes are often missing ingredients, and they need to alter the recipe to fit the contents of their fridge. We interviewed home cooks and discovered that altering recipes was a frustrating process. I designed a website that gives users control over their recipes by offering substitution options for each ingredient. The suggestions are based on chef recommendations and general substitution tables. I contributed to the project by interviewing participants, generating concepts, sketching wireframes and designing a high-fidelity prototype.
