Book Covers

The goal of the project was to create four book covers that had individual character while functioning as a group. I designed the covers using an iterative process, which I describe below. Advisor: Dan Boyarski.

Design Process

I started the designs on paper: printing out letters, cutting them up and arranging them on a page. I photographed each arrangement and then digitized the strongest compositions. I added color, imagery, and then refined the typography.
